Orders will ship within five business days of receiving cleared payment. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us prior to purchase so we can discuss if delivery by that date is possible.
To the US and United States Territories, we ship via USPS Priority Mail, which will typically arrive in 1-3 days depending on your location. Domestic packages valued at over $200 will include signature confirmation.
To all other countries, we ship via USPS First Class Mail International for all packages valued less than $400, which will typically arrive in 14-21 days to most locations. For packages valued at over $400, we must use USPS Priority Mail International, which will typically arrive in 6-10 days. Please understand that these delivery time-frames are estimates provided by the US Postal Service and that we are unable to guarantee delivery dates.
Please double-check your shipping address before you finalize your order! We are not responsible for misdelivered or undelivered packages where the shipping address given to us was incorrect. Packages returned to us because of an incorrect address may be reshipped at the customer's expense or refunded less the original shipping cost.
Customs and Import Fees
Import fees, duties, handling fees, customs charges, or any other charge imposed by your government are the buyer's responsibility, and in accordance with US and international laws, we will not falsify customs forms. You can use an online duty calculator or contact your country's customs office directly to help estimate what import fees your purchase might incur in your country.
Items returned to us for nonpayment of import fees will be refunded less original shipping cost upon their safe return. Refused or abandoned packages often take several months to be returned to the sender.
If you live in the United Kingdom, please be aware that the import threshold in your country is very low (meaning that you may pay taxes even on small purchases), and that the Royal Mail Post Office may also choose to levy an additional £8 handling fee for imports from outside of the EU.
Refunds and Exchanges
Our first priority is that you are thrilled with your purchase! If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please contact us at email@example.com within 48 hours of receipt to arrange a return or exchange. If you wish to exchange for another brooch, that piece must be in stock at the time of the exchange. Returned items must be postmarked within seven days of delivery and must be in their original, unworn condition. You will be responsible for paying return shipping costs, and we highly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages. A refund less original shipping will be processed once we receive the item.
Please note that all Seconds Sale pieces are final sale.
Missing Packages or Damaged Items
Although they will usually arrive earlier, please allow up to 15 days from the date of shipment for domestic orders to arrive. For international shipments, please allow 40 days. In the event that your package does not arrive by that time, contact us and we will either refund or re-ship your order. You may be asked to sign a form for our insurance company verifying the non-receipt of your order before we will process your refund or re-ship your package.
Items marked 'delivered' on your tracking are considered delivered; we are not responsible for stolen packages. Please check with your local post office, neighbors, or anyone else living at your residence to see if the package may have been misplaced. We highly recommend reporting suspected mail theft to your Postal Inspector. For international buyers, your package may be held by your local post office or customs office for payment of import fees or taxes, which must be paid before you can collect it.
If you receive an item which has been damaged during its journey to you, you may return it for a replacement or refund. We will cover the cost of return shipping. Please contact us immediately upon receipt with clear photos of the damage and original packaging. You may be asked to provide information for our insurance company before receiving a refund or replacement.
To foster a more equitable shop environment, we have set a purchase limit of one per design per customer. The order limit resets after two weeks, at which time you are welcome to purchase a second brooch of the same design.
Julia designs, paints, assembles, and coats each brooch with resin by hand. This means that there will be small differences and imperfections in each piece. We use stock photos in our listings, so your brooch may vary slightly from the one shown. Please note that while we make every effort to take the most accurate photos possible, there will be some variation in colors due to individual paint batches and different screen displays.
Our brooches are made in a smoke-free but dog-friendly studio.
We use high-quality materials in the construction of these pieces, and they should hold up well to regular use with proper care. The brooches are water-resistant, but not waterproof, so always remember to remove them before swimming or bathing, and avoid otherwise immersing them in water. Contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreens, or other similar products may damage the finish. Brooches may break if dropped, struck, or snagged, so always wear and handle with care, and be especially mindful with things like handbag straps or seatbelts that might catch on them. You can use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface.
